On Saturday, the Mullingar Under 13 boys kicked off their Midlands League campaign with a thrilling performance against Longford at Shay Murtagh Park. Despite having only five training sessions under their belt, the Mullingar lads showed remarkable progress as they played their first full 15-a-side game on a full-size pitch.
